Pickled Red Onions - Everyone's favorite topping!

 2 cups Apple Cider Vinegar
 1 ½ tbsp Salt
 ½ tsp Black Pepper
 1 cup Sugar
 1 Large Red Onion

Put all dry ingredients except for the onion into a pot, then add the Vinegar, whisk together and bring to a boil.


While you're waiting for the mixture to boil, slice your onion into roughly quarter inch slices.


Put the sliced onions in a bowl or jar, and pour the boiling mixture over them.


Let it sit for at least 3 hours to pickle.
