How to prepare Tofu with the perfect texture!


1 Block Extra Firm Tofu


Slice Tofu block into 8 slices, set on parchment lined sheet pan and freeze solid.

TIP: We always keep one set of frozen tofu ready to go in our freezer for a quick meal.

Place sheet pan with frozen Tofu into cold oven and set to Pre-Heat to 350 degrees. When the oven gets to temperature, leave it in for an additional 10 minutes.

Take the pan out and let the Tofu cool enough to be touched. Then, take four slices at a time and squeeze them together between your hands, draining as much water out as possible. The goal is to get all of the moisture out without breaking the Tofu.

Put the squeezed Tofu back onto the pan and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes. Most of the moisture should cook off, but it should not be completely dry like a cracker.

Cut each slice into 8 cubes.
