BONUS BLOG – Party Time Pudding

Sometimes you need to make something lazy and terrible for you, and sometimes you just need to eat an entire bowl of sugar. Maybe not literal sugar, though I admit that doesn’t actually sound bad at all. I think it’s a well known fact that carbs heal all wounds, at least temporarily. Fun fact, sugar is a carb! Eventually, you’ll look in the mirror and wonder what happened, but for a short while, that sweet goodness will make you feel better.

That is NOT good advice. Please don’t take any advice from me. I do not have a healthy relationship with food, in case you couldn’t tell from my opening statements above. However, that doesn’t change the fact that this treat is incredibly satisfying. Party Time Pudding, as we’re calling it, combines pudding, muffins that are basically cake, sprinkles, Cool Whip and Nilla Wafers into a bowl of creamy deliciousness that can only be described as dangerous. Seriously, I’m sure your doctor will agree.

Though this isn’t our typical style of truly homemade, we thought it was a fun thing to share with all of you. When Steven Michael came up with this idea for a cheat day treat, he was absolutely thinking only of me. If you’ve ever met me in person, you know that rainbow sprinkles are EVERYTHING to me. Ice cream is used only as a vehicle to get the sprinkles into my mouth, sprinkle cookies are life, and I even add sprinkles to my breakfast yogurt. Funfetti is basically my religion, and I worship a little too often at the altar of sugar overload.

And so, I invite you to take a few minutes to make this super easy, super tasty, super sweet treat. Go ahead, eat your feelings. I give you my permission. Heck, I’ll eat mine with you!

  1. OMG! This is totally decadent!!! Can’t wait to try with the grandkids (sprinkle lovers, as well). And – dare I say – I think there is actually the possibility of a slightly less caloric/fat version, if this becomes a regular adult event!

  2. Easy and fast to make and totally delicious. Made it and love it . Thanks for sharing your recipe
